A passive fire specialist that will actually come north
Northland has plenty of building work and very few passive fire specialists. That gap is why we started taking Northland projects: developers building self-storage, industrial and commercial premises in Ruakaka and Mangawhai needed fire separations sealed to a tested system and certified with a PS3, and the alternative was a general trade improvising.
We plan Northland work as grouped trips. Travel is quoted as one fixed line at the start, not added to the invoice later, and where several sites are ready we sequence them into the same visit so each client carries less of it. For new builds we co-ordinate with the builder so the visit lands when the services are in and the linings are ready.
For existing buildings, we quote from the IQP report or photos and fix the raised items in one planned visit, with the as-built register and photos your IQP needs to sign the Form 12A.

Regular trips to Bream Bay and the Kaipara. Whangarei and the Far North by arrangement, usually grouped with other work.
Bream Bay & Ruakaka
Industrial, self-storage and commercial builds around Marsden Point and Ruakaka. Recent site: Safeguard Self Storage, Ruakaka.
Mangawhai & Kaipara
Fast-growing commercial and residential area. Recent site: Safeguard Self Storage, Mangawhai.
Whangarei
BWOF remediation, fit-outs and new commercial work in the city and Kamo. Quoted from drawings or IQP reports, installed on grouped visits.
Far North
Kerikeri, Paihia and Kaitaia by arrangement. Best suited to larger scopes or several sites we can do in one trip.
Passive fire advisory (drawing reviews, tested-system selection, buildability checks) is done from your drawings and is available anywhere in Northland without a site visit.

BWOF and consents with Northland councils
Whangarei District, Kaipara District and Far North District Councils each run their own BWOF and IQP registers. The process is the same as Auckland: annual IQP inspection of fire separations, Form 12A, and a Notice to Fix if defects are not remedied.

One stated travel and mobilisation line per visit. If we can pair your job with another Northland site, we say so and share it.

For new builds and alterations we install to the consented fire report and issue the PS3 producer statement for Code Compliance with the district council.
