Passive Fire Protection · North Waikato & Hamilton

Passive Fire Protection North Waikato & Hamilton

Passive fire installers for the Waikato corridor: Pokeno, Tuakau, Huntly, Ngaruawahia and Hamilton. Our largest project this year was the Anglesea Day Procedure clinic in Hamilton, around 700 fire stopped items, and the Cellora laboratory at Pokeno before that. New builds, fit-outs and BWOF remediation, with tested systems and PS3 documentation for Waikato councils.

North Waikato & Hamilton

Auckland specialists, regularly in the Waikato

The North Waikato is a natural extension of our South Auckland work. Pokeno and Tuakau are closer to us than the North Shore is, and Hamilton is a planned day trip we make often. The industrial and medical building happening along the corridor needs the same thing Auckland does: fire separations sealed with a tested system, tagged, photographed and certified with a PS3.

Recent Waikato work includes the Anglesea Day Procedure clinic fit-out in Hamilton for AHS Construction, the Cellora research and development laboratory at Pokeno, and the Franklin Day Surgery in Pukekohe on the Auckland side of the boundary. Two of those are healthcare buildings with a lot of services through fire-rated walls and floors, which is where an experienced passive fire crew earns its keep.

Travel to Pokeno and Tuakau is treated like South Auckland. Hamilton and further south carry a stated travel line, planned as full days so the visit is productive.

FAQs

Passive fire in the Waikato, common questions

Do you work in Hamilton regularly?
Yes. Our largest 2026 project was the Anglesea Day Procedure clinic in Hamilton Central, and we survey and quote BWOF work in Hamilton on the same trips.
Is travel charged to Pokeno or Tuakau?
Pokeno and Tuakau are priced like South Auckland, with travel built into the rates. Hamilton and further south carry one stated travel line per visit.
Can you issue a PS3 that Hamilton City Council accepts?
Our PS3 producer statements and as-built documentation are prepared in the Waikato Building Consent Group format used by Hamilton City and Waikato District Councils.
Do you fix BWOF defects for Waikato building owners?
Yes. Send the IQP report and we quote against the listed items, fix them with tested systems in a planned visit and send the register and photos your IQP needs for the Form 12A.
Can you help before the design is finished?
Yes. Our advisory service reviews drawings and specifications from an installer's perspective, points to tested systems and flags what will not build as drawn. It is done from the documents, so there is no travel cost.
How far into the Waikato will you go?
Regularly to Hamilton. Cambridge, Te Awamutu and Morrinsville by arrangement for larger scopes or several sites in one trip.
